Firstly cant get this pic on here. Could one of you clever people sort it.
I thought I would give the breathers a clean because I keep getting a oily mist over the left hand pipe. When I took them off I notice the oily residue coming out of the throttle body. I have checked for air leaks and cannot find any. I spoke about this before asking why I have oily water sitting in the botton of the bagpipe thingys. and It seems to have stumped everybody. Anybody got any ideas. :-[

I think that is a side effect of a normal, higher mileage engine breathing :y
The vapour/fumes from the crankcase get sucked into the throttle body to be burnt as part of the combustion chamber. These fumes naturally contain oil, which condenses (not the right word) in the breathers/throttle, hence the need for regular cleaning :y
If I get a chance, I'll post a pic of mine, which will either put your mind at ease or frighten the living daylights out of you ;D
