Title: Best way to set up compression test
Post by: Vauxhalloofer on 04 December 2013, 00:27:16
Hi peeps , Want to do compression test due to excessive oil use and smoke on start up, its a 2.2 2001.Would just pulling crank sensor and having spark pack connector disconnected be ok or its it best to leave crank sensor connected and pull fuel pump relay, if so which relay.Has always used oil, noticed when i did head gasket that some valves had been changed. Thanks 8)

Just pull fuse 18 under the steering column. Coil pack will be disconnected when you remove it :y
