Sounds like some people are not draining the water from the fuel filter annualy and are not changing the fuel filter.

And £160 to change a fuel filter on a Shitroen

I you could change the Shitroen on the filter for that it'd still be a rip off. ;D

Chevy sounds better than Daewoo.

Daewoo Corvette and Daewoo Camaro just doesn't have the same ring to it. ;D ;)

That refers not to additives but the fact that more and more bio diesel is being mixed in with the diesel.

The issues I have seen is that if this diesel is left for some time, it 'grows' (well bacteria feed on the bio diesel and create a scum like gunk that clogs stuff up).

Ethanol is causing problems too, I seem to remember?

I mix quite a lot of 'Bio diesel' with my diesel with no problems so far!!  :y

Mind you it dosn't hang around for long so I guess I don't give it time to ferment!  :y
