Title: Root canal in tenerife
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 06 December 2013, 14:08:51
For the last 18 months I've needed a root canal on a lower rear molar.

My uk nhs dentist has tried 3 times and just cannot get it to numb, no matter how much anaesthetic, as soon as he touches the nerve I nearly jump out if the chair.

Today I visited a dentist privately in tenerife due to unbearable pain in that tooth which painkillers won't touch whilst on holiday

Inside of 45 mins, the nerve has been removed entirely from that tooth and he has cleared all three canals ready for the final root filling when I get back to the uk, I didn't feel a thing

I cannot rate them enough, not cheap at all, but money bloody well spent... Can now enjoy holiday pain free :) :y

I am impressed(if that is the right word) with Spanish dentists. Good kit, no receptionists (that is done by either the dental assistant or the customers themselves)

Price is in between private Uk and NHS UK. They are all private of course.

Sister in law is thinking of health tourism'ing here to have bridges, canals and embankments done to save a fortune.

My ex-next door neighbour had his teeth sorted out in Turkey, they did a first class job for about 10% of the UK price.  :y :y

So I take it the 'ex' status has nothing to do with the dental work then?  ;D

No now he and his wife have retired, they have joined most of the other UK's pensioners by buying a bungalow in Bournemouth.  :o

Has the rain stopped yet? Friends of mine were there last week, poured down the whole time. Shame that  ;D
