Title: overheating issues love my car need help

My omega 2.2 runs hot between 90 degrees and 100 degree's then the other day she went right upan well  over 100 iv had her in garage and they are trying to charge me 100 pound for replacing the rocker gasket and oil top up aare they serious or trying it on please she has no signs of headgasket issues an garage say now rocker gasket fixed that she no longer runs hot I cant believe that how can a rocker gasket cause it to overheat please help

Well you are right, a cam cover cannot cause over heating. Stupid garage ::)

Is the engine using any coolant? Is the cooling fan coming on? Should engage around 96 ish.

It doesn't use coolant an the oil and water arnt mixing cooling fan does work tho should the  temp fluctuate between 90 and a 100

My 2.2 sits at 85 temp wise, only goes above 90 in summer stop start traffic. How is the main coolant pipe near battery, does it squeeze? Any over pressure? Are both the bottom and top pipes into the rad both hot?
