Title: The 10 Commandments of Owning an Omega: (tis the season)
Post by: PLANETNZ on 23 December 2013, 04:05:09
 1)  Keep thy donk(y) well feed and serviced then it will not be an ass and leave you stranded in thy night
2)  ALWAYS unlock thy door(s) before opening thy boot (trunk) should thy drop key inside then close the lid
3) Solid beatings will always lead to thy wandering and a need to fix its crooked toe...(camber and caster)
4) A wet floor overnight (particularly the passenger side) does not necessarily mean a prostate check for thy steed
5)...(add!)

The path of the Omega man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of the BMW drivers.
Blessed is he that shepherds his Omega through darkness for he is truly the petrol stations keeper and the finder of old vauxhalls

And I will strike down upon thee (BMW) drivers with great vengeance and furious anger, those that attempt to overtake me and cut me up
And you will know My name is Omega owner, when I lay my V6 upon you!!

16) Every car is a compromise, but the Omega tops the list for good design, accommodation for taller drivers, performance, and cost. Enough were made for the model to be reliable, spares to be widely available, used parts to to be worth marketing,  and to have an excellent forum of wise, helpful and generous members giving good advice and help.

The Omega owner should strive to avoid smugness, content in the knowledge that he drives a car as good as any other, at a fraction of the cost of other luxury cars. BMWs, Jaguars, Mercedes, Rolls Royces and Bentleys are not better cars, just more expensive and often less reliable; their owners feel obliged to employ main dealers to maintain their costly lumps, while Omega men enjoy doing it themselves.

The three wise men arrive bearing gifts of gold, incense and myrrh.

The three Omega men arrive with worn wheel bearing, leaking HBV and emulsion from holy oil cooler.  ::)

Blessed are they that do "enjoy", and their reward shall be the rest of us giving thanks. :-*
