Perhaps Lord Opti will be so good to treat us to a trip in his when he takes delivery. :y :y :y :y

Thats one nice looking bird , wonder who will be the first to order :-\

My old Learjet does the same for half the price. :)

First? Second surely?

interesting wing shape for a supersonic aircraft. :-\
I wouldn't mind betting that's a "Daily Fail" aerodynamic masterpiece that gets tweaked quite a bit before anyone tries to fly it. ::)

Should add, for sale with or without engines, poa ::)

Looks like the wings from the Angel of the North. :-\

Without sweptback wings, it is not going supersonic me thinks. :o :o :o :o

Indeed, the shockwave would tear them off, making it a pretty effective single use missile ;D
The Delta layout has long since been proven as the way to do supersonic, whether that be with a fixed shape (Concorde, SR71, F15/16, Eurofighter) or swept/vaiable wings (Tornado, F14, F111). The variable wings offering far greater low speed control :y
-
Its the airfoil shape that's matters more then the sweep of the leading edge ;)
Take this as a example
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-104_Starfighter
One of the fastest aircraft ever to fly :)
-
Depends if you want it to cruise efficiently at MACH >> 1 or just get there by brute force, though. ;D
IME, it's not even worth reading aviation related "stories" in the Daily Fail as their aviation specialists clearly don't have any grasp on reality or the basic laws of physics.

An almost uncontrollable reusable missile ;D

Fixed that for you Kev. ;D ;D

Commonly know as the 'Widow-maker'. :(

Never met a jocky who didn't love flying them though ;D

If you're going to buy the farm, you might as well do it on the edge ;D

F16 and later generations, use leading edge and tailing strakes that change the profile of the wings, depending upon speed and AOA which is a better solution than swing wings. This was possible where it is fly-by-wire with the flight control computers controlling the aircraft's stability.
