Title: Fluid leak from the Steering Box (Urgent pls)

Hi,

I have a problem with my Omega B 2.OL Model 1996
a fluid leak found from the steering Box...
any help please how to remove it and fix this problem...
With pictures if available please.

Its a v engine though.

What fluid is it? Power steering fluid? Grease? Brake fluid res is above it on a uk car, could it be leaking down?

Yes it's a  Power steering fluid...

Not just the pipe conection a to the box, rather than the box itself?

Are you sure it is steering fluid?  Even on the 4-pot engines engine oil leaks often weave their way down to the steering box and drip off the hex bolts on the underside.
