...for his help with wishbones, drop-links and tie-rod ends. Drives really really nice (touch wood). You can tell it needs an alignment (it did anyway as my cambers out on O/S/F IIRC) as it pulled once or twice but really not that much at all.... not like scary pull like it did a few years back. Whole front end is transformed!!!!
Treats for you when I get paid!!! :y :y :y
Re the job, Martin did O/S and I did N/S. Removing w/b's was a piece of piss...even I did it no probs 8) getting new ones in was challenging and I had to have Martin's help with my side but other than that everything was really straight forward.
If I'd have done the job on my own I would have been able to do everything apart from the re-fitting of the w/b. Just awkward trying to get the back bush in place at a straight angle whilst holding the strut out of the way and fighting with the ball joint.
Re the removed parts w/b ball joint boots were torn to shreds as were the drop link boot/gaiter thingys. I never picked that up on inspection cos the gashes in the boots were all hidden by their respective retaining nuts. But it's done now. :y :y :y Going to fit new dampers as soon as I'm paid (even I can do those alone ::) :D) and then straight to WIM for a set up.....oh yeah and a whole new exhaust as mine sounds awful :(
Anyway thanks again Martin.... legend! :y :y :y
