Title: exhaust brake noise

Can anyone tell me,  when doing about 50 / 55 when I lift my foot off the accelerator pedal the engine note changes as though there is an exhaust brake, its a 2.6 auto elite

Can't say that I've noticed with mine :-\ could just be the throttle closing as you lift off...

just sounds like exhaust brake on a hgv but not as loud, maybe the exhaust system that is fitted, it's not a problem but just wondered if anyone else has this symptom

No its not transmission whine, maybe it's a boy racer exhaust getting under neath soon so will havea look and see what system is on
