Title: Are the energy companies going to lower their prices.....???

Just been online with mine......at the moment im on variable rate....

If i fix it for the next 12 months.....its actually cheaper than i paying now???

Oh and to add.....

Ive just discovered that unlike most of the big 6 that announced around 10% price increases....late last year.....mine announced a 4.5% .....which has now turned into a 2.5% increase...because they dont need to do a 4.5% increase.....but im still suspicious of why a 12 month fixed plan is cheaper than im paying now.....

Im with E-on and had a look on line recently, think I worked it out that it would only be cheaper to sign up for a Fixed 12 months if they were to put the prices up again in those 12 months, if that makes sense.

Im also a bitt weary of changing my Electric tarriff as well as I only paying about £37 a month and have been for ages.  :-\
