Title: central locking problem
Post by: bulkybob on 13 January 2014, 09:30:18
hi everyone I was wondering if this could be a fuse problem ?
yesterday the passenger door stopped working on the central locking and also the petrol cap locks but wont unlock so I have to open the boot to open the petrol cap could this be a fuse problem or is it more hard work than that ? cheers rob  :-\

The passenger door will probably be the solenoid, fairly easy to change. The boot release, not quite sure I'm afraid  :-\

Front door maybe solenoid.....i had the same trouble with my petrol cap one......had to open it from the boot..at first just took the unit out and tested it only to find it worked on occasion so for a couple of quid bought a second hand one and all was well after that.... :y :y
