Title: ENGINE PAINT

i'm needing some advice , i want to paint the heads on omega and the inlet manifold aswell but can't decide what colour would be best any ideas :y

Well to make it stand out , it has to be red/orange heads ... maybe black inlet  :-\

just sand the plenum it will be original silver color..  for heads not sure but paint must be heat resistant or it will flake ..

Acquired one of them on a 3.2, someone spent a lot of time and effort doing it, you can see your face on it.

Ah, right, so pull up, hey people like my painted Inlet Manifold, Oh, hang on, give me 10 mins, just need to whip the Plenum off, wait one.  ;D

  Its your car, your taste, but expect lots of ribbing if its too bright 8) 8) :o :o

done that ;D

but used dremel for initial sanding work.. so sanding by hand took less time..

What colour is the car body paintwork ?

Painting aluminium heads/plenums etc seems a waste of time to me. Buy some ally cleaner, and give them a good scrub/jet-wash.
I'd paint(or powder coat) brackets black.
If the engine is out of the car and stripped down, then I'd probably paint the block body colour, using the same 2 pack paint as on the bodywork itself.

car its self is black was thinking red for inlet black for plenum and not sure for the heads

have a look at my engine in the gallery under rebuilding x30xe got the block, heads and plenum all powder coated candy red.
