Who;s going to see the Inlet Manifold on a V6? ;D
-
just sand the plenum it will be original silver color.. for heads not sure but paint must be heat resistant or it will flake ..

Acquired one of them on a 3.2, someone spent a lot of time and effort doing it, you can see your face on it.

What colour is the car body paintwork ?
-
Painting aluminium heads/plenums etc seems a waste of time to me. Buy some ally cleaner, and give them a good scrub/jet-wash.
I'd paint(or powder coat) brackets black.
If the engine is out of the car and stripped down, then I'd probably paint the block body colour, using the same 2 pack paint as on the bodywork itself.

car its self is black was thinking red for inlet black for plenum and not sure for the heads

have a look at my engine in the gallery under rebuilding x30xe got the block, heads and plenum all powder coated candy red.
