Posted similar on Hsv forum re importing the vxr8 estate. Seems the cheapest possible way is to import via Vauxhall.

But then your into a new car or asking them to import used :-\

I haven't tried begging yet, but asking got nowhere... :-\ and the new route is out, because anything ordered after last August is the god awful VF... the one that looks like summat Hyundai designed whilst high on oxy :-\

If you boys are thinking about importing a Holden, then you'd better get on with it whilst they're still proper Holdens!!  ::)

Hang around too long and your Holden will be a ................ Daewoo!!!!  :D :D :D  ;D ;D ;D

There is a suggestion that the Caprice/Chevy SS (VXR8 in all but name), will be built in the US once Holden shuts down. Suspect this will mean the end of right hand drive cars though :'(
