Does the fuel filter on my 2.6 need to be replaced at certain intervals, just realised it comes in the official GM service kit, thanks for any advice
-
Supposedly every 2 years, but with decent fuel in UK, you can get away with longer.
-
Thanks TB Mine looks well old is it easy to replace?
-
If you have the fuel filter and unsure when it was last done there's no harm in changing it :-\, Did mine on the 3.2 few months ago, removed a fuse cant recall which fuse then let the engine cut out then there should be less pressure. Managed to do mine without the special tool, 30min it took in total I'd say :y
-
Thanks so remove fuse (can anyone give me a number please )then start engine, let it die , do the pipes just pull off?
-
Estates are a bit more fiddly, as some sponge headed numpty decided the best place for it was almost directly above the diff ::)
Fuse 18 :y
-
Thanks Al so i shouldn't need the special tool then?
-
