Title: Chances of that...
Post by: TheBoy on 23 January 2014, 19:16:47
Went to fill the Bullet with LPG, but a combo of manflu and a caught plastic tab to retain filler cap, meant the nozzle wasn't properly on, unnoticed by me.

Pump made a strange pulsing noise before giving up, and the ppl was 74.9p. "Why it no workio?", methinks, before checking and realising my mistake. All the safety systems worked fine, no gas escape :)

Reattached nozzle properly, press the button, price had dropped to 73.9p :D.  That saved me a few pence :D

I guess if you're daft enough to spray gas everywhere... Then you'll be just as glad to pay more for it ;D

Can complain about the timing though :y

70.9 at garage near me earlier this week, at gas place in Prettywood (Bury) 68.9

Have had occasions where when filler inserted and locked can hear "hissing" from nozzle.
Never actually tried to fill when that happens, just reported it and gone elswhere

Did something very similar, when Tesco's used to sell LPG at Hatfield, Gun popped off making a very loud noise making me almost poo in my pants, and a few Petrol Fillers nearby, one women run, and just kept running.  :o ;D

Sadly no Asda or Morrisons around here, so even in MK its 75ish.

Could be worse, I could still live in Aylesbury, where nobody sells LPG ;D
