As some know I had a wonky bonnet and my N/S headlight assembly stuck out like a sore thumb :'(
Well, RobG kindly sent me a replacement front crash bar with brackets and the polystyrene thingy.
Thanks to Taxi Al for the kind offer of coming to his to help me fix this but I thought, I was allowed to leave early today, I'm in my overalls, let's give it a go 8)
Bumper came off easy enough and revealed that the crash bar wasn't bent! It didn't take me long though to find the source of the misalignment :o

In short, the N/S bracket (being bent) was pushing the headlight unit up and outwards. Once the crash bar was removed and the offending bracket I simply slotted the bottom headlight assembly clip back in to place and everything was lined up like a treat.
A bonus was that the bonnet now is level and looks pukka! It could do with coming to the left a couple of mm but it's almost perfect now and as you look at it it sits straight and level 8). Very pleased my slam panel wasn't bent at all and the headlight just sloted back in..... a lucky break i'll take :y

Best to leave all that until after you've finished your 0 to 60 testing, ;)

Cheers boys.
Haha yeah I've told him he needs some new socks ;D
Just a note about getting the passenger side bracket bolts back in...... I put a scrap piece of paper in my socket and then put the bolt in the socket and it held it in place... the paper creates an interference fit and it will stay in place whilst you're trying to line the bracket up....bearing in mind it's tight and you cant get your hand in due to a bunch of thick wiring. :y
