Title: Home remedies...

Anyone know of a home remedy for a cold sore?  Bloody things doing my head in and Zovirax ain't working.
Someone's granny must have passed down the secret??  :)

I know a two hundred year old shortbread recipe from Rousay, but I doubt it will help ::)

Surprised Zovirax didn't work. My Mum used to dab her perfume on a cold sore and let it dry off.

The main thing is to keep it as dry as possible, no licking or picking !  :y

Its not that Zovirax isn't working, it probably is,slowly. I was hoping someone would have a miracle cure that would blitz the bugger in 24hrs.

dab some Natural or Pure Honey on it, leave for a while then gently clean and wipe off, also used Tea bags, warm to hot and hold on for 10 mins at a time when ever possible.  :y
