Title: A few questions

Best place / approx price for cam covers seals and black sealant ?
I take it they are not trade club  :-\

Also oil cooler plate .......... is there a alternate sealant other then  (# 93165267)   that can be used ?
Local stealers say its 38 quid plus vat the thieving bastewards  :o >:( >:(

Also can the block thermostat be sealed with the same stuff ?

Thermostat should be a simple sealing ring :-\

If you know the part numbers, try ebay.com, as the v6 is used in a few things in the States, and prices can be pretty favourable, even allowing for shipping :y

Have you tried Euro parts ???? I know this place isnt liked by some on here but I have found them to be the cheapest  place for parts lately. hth

Cant remember how much the black stuff was, but the grey for the oil cooler was around 12 quid from Vx, as for the thermostst just use the rubber gasket ring that comes with it.

Cam cover seals ?

I did Mick Clark's 2.5 last year for him.
When I priced up with the local Vx stealer, they wanted over 200 quid  :o
He ended up using AndyC in the end
