Hi was wondering if anybody knows which model omegas have limited slip diffs, was going to get a spare one to weld for drift days at santa pod. But an LSD would be a better permanent solution.

None by default, a rare option most commonly found in ex-police cars.

I think all 2.6 & 3.2 V6 in Germany

Not sure about Germany, some Nordic countries had some of them fitted.

Does not mean anything, in regards to LSD's :y
As stated above, it was a Police option only. At least here in the UK :)

And where are you located, or more to the point where did the Car originate from?

LSD is rare on a retail car unless it's been fitted at a later date. I had a 3.0 Elite with a manual gearbox which is even more rare than the 2.5 and it had everything fitted from the factory, sat nav, phone ect, I had to fit an LSD myself though.

Ok, asked the question in case you were overseas or something.
Chance's are yours wont have LSD Diff then, unless its been retro fitted by someone after the car was registered in the UK. ;)

I can most likely do something there......

to find a LSD, best to look under an ex-plod car. Expect about a 20% success rate

Got a 3.9 sat here in shed 8)

Cool thanks for all the info. Got a mate that wrote his ex plod of so will go and ask him if I can nick his.
Tho another question. I've had a lot of bmws in the past and the LSD clutches are normally worn out and a nightmare to get parts for. How long or reliable are omega lsds? And are they easily refurbed? Or am I just best getting it welded as I did with the bmws for a permenent state of fun, tho a complete pain in the ass to park in a tight space.
