At the request of the router vendor, I was trialling a new, unreleased firmware to overcome another issue we have. As far as I was concerned, it had fixed the original problem and appeared to have on adverse affects on anything else, so I decided to keep it running for a few days to check stability. Clearly it broke something else :-[
