Hi all
My parents are selling their ford fiesta on auto trader and this morning my dad received this text:
Ford Fies.. still for sale? We can offer £9,500 CASH & collect tomorrow! Visit www.feb-autotrader.com enter PURCHASE ID 667309676
I've googled them and they say they make their money on the finance deals when they sell your car on.
My dad had the car up for £9750 which is over book price, but this is because it basically brand new with 3700 miles on it.
I've said I'd look into it but apart from their website there is no other mention of that company on google.
I'm just a bit cautious, what's the catch.
Opinions please.

sounds a bit like we buy any car this is taken from their terms and conditions
Any vehicle quote given by www.feb-autotrader.com is not final and guaranteed until the vehicle has been visually inspected by a member of our staff, if the car is not as described, we reserve the right to adjust the offer accordingly.

Yes just the same as webuyanycar - any marks on the car that you have not disclosed will attract a discount. At 3700 miles though they will be interested to pay a good price. What is dealer selling price for equivalent car? Any dealers interested to buy?

Webuyanycar, wewantanycar, carbuyingservice and this morning, an email from weloveanycar. They're multiplying.

In all fairness the car is as new. I'm not looking through rose tinted spectacles, it really is out of the box fresh.
She is the second owner, the first was Buckingham Palace. She got it with 1200 miles on the clock, it's just not used enough now they're retired, they take the lexus everywhere.
We buy any car offered £7250 and sky ford (Hemel) have offered £8000. They're on the forecourt for £10495 with 12,000 miles on the clock. Wish I had the funds tbh, it's such a nice little car.
I think they'll avoid this company, if it's too good to be true it usually is!
Cheers all

I hit the 'Terms and privacy' tab on their website and was directed to 'Find an adult friend'.
