I've had BT Fibre installed, they had an offer on for Sainsburys Gift card.
Just attempted to claim, this is what the website said:
"Thank you for claiming your Sainsbury's Gift Card. We are checking the details of your claim and once we've confirmed you're eligible, we'll send out your voucher within the next 45 days to the address where your broadband has been installed."
45 Days? :o :o :o :o :o :o
A check like that should be instant, BT know when I ordered it, where I ordered it, how I ordered it and if it's active. (apparently I have to meet their criteria) - A digital voucher should then be sent, what the frak takes 45 days? :o

They want to make sure you don't cancel, perhaps?
Cashback offers on insurance are usually like that - 90 days before you get the cashback. Or never if it's Quidco & Sainsbury.. >:(

Guess so :-\ :-\
I could cancel, then just keep the voucher I guess. But BT could build that in to their terms, if you use that, and cancel it costs you in T&C?
Comes across as if someone is manually checking my details, then manually triggering something to Sainsburys for a voucher.
Perhaps they know, the longer it's panned out, the less likely you are to use it. ::)

From my experience, they do take that long! I suspect that they order the cards once a month and send out in bulk, hence 45 days.

One for my dad was far quicker than that :y

That's good to know :)

I have had the same wait for instore manufacturer promotions for computers
Bought a couple of Samsung laptops for sons university courses and got a £100 cashback direct from Samsung, I think I received it after 60 days :y

I suspect the delay is at Sainsburys ;)
There online cashback is woefully bad, I had to wait 5 days short of a year to get some cashback from Sainsburys Bank.
