Title: Is there a H/U compatible...?

Which H/U's / stereo's are compatible with the BOSE system in my '99 F/L Elite...?

I have the CD 2006....? but TBH the thing is knackered, the CD player needs a new cartridge and the front is falling off the stereo itself...

I need a H/U that either plays MP3's or I can plug my iPod into it without having to use a crappy convertor that goes into the tape deck...

If need be I can take out the BOSE system completely and replace it with my Alpine DVD player which is iPod compatible and plays MP3's etc...

just thinking that maybe there is 1 out there that will work with the BOSE system maybe from a different model car or even make of manufacturer....?

No aftermarket unit is Bose compatible

Bugger....!!!

Looks like Im gonna be busy at the weekend then... got this to change and a cambelt kit to fit too....
