Title: Estate mini facelift tailgate onto a facelift question

Right, i've had a spotless tailgate off a mfl estate stashed for a couple of years awaiting fitment to a car.
Now it looks like I can start sorting out my motor.  I'm looking to get it painted / spoiler bolted on and fitted to the current facelift mv6.

As the MFL still has its electrical plug on, are the wiring looms the same on the both tailgates or is some chopping and crimping needed ?

Tailgate is physically identical :y worst case, your easiest bet is to swap all the gubbins over.

Once current tailgate is off you can compare plugs... you'll probably want it stripped before painting anyways :y
