Could anyone tell me if on the BOSE wiring loom, where the steering control wiring is located...
Is it on the mini ISO plugs or the other ISO plugs...
What Im doing is, Iv bought a new stereo for my Elite, Im going to be removing most of the wiring from the Omega for the BOSE setup and was wondering where the steering control wiring is as the new stereo has programmable steering control interface - it works through resistance as you press each button it allocates the different functions....
Any help appreciated.....

Suggest to contact the supplier of the interface for that information, as my experience has taught me that they seldom work the way that they are intended or advertised.
Most quality / branded stereos will use a proper adaptor interface that is plug and play, and if, as I suspect, you are going down the route or a poor quality china import, then I regret that it is probably going to end in tears.

As DaveDND says, unless you have a separate adapter for your premium branded stereo, wave goodbye to steering wheel controls.

Ahem...... its in and working :) ::) :P
All I needed do was figure out which wire was the activation wire and which wasn't... simple as that, then program the H/U with each control...... working fine...

OK, good news, but what make HU, as none of the usable makes we've seen have the correct adapters built in, all need another adapter for older style GM controls.

Its a no-make Ebay special TBH...
I have an Alpine D310 to install but that needs repairing, this is a temp replacement until I can get the Alpine repaired...
I think it's called something like PNavi....? Im not 100% but I think it's a rebadged Pioneer unit, but an older type as the menu function is very similar to Pioneer...
I don't know what it sounds like as yet as the speakers are only going to be installed today after having to change from the BOSE set-up to this. I'll be changing the complete speaker set-up for all Infinty Kappa speakers that I removed from my Vectra when that got stripped.... hopefully it sounds OK, Im going past the megawatt ICE install, and just going for a simple 4 channel amp for the door speakers and a 12" JL subwoofer in its own ported and tuned box..... installed in the boot....
