Sorry to hear this buddy as you seems a decent bloke.  But it's better to be on your own than to invest emotionally in something that isn't working. :y

got to agree with guffer on that one...unfortunately It took me 3 1/2 years to find out this one was wrong...but better to be alone than with someone for the wrong reason....and as I was told by a friend/member on here...it is not the end of the world even though it may seem like it at the mo :-\

It's shit for the first few months but, like everything else in life, you get used to it.

I, of course, had no problems going through my two divorces. Being super-handsome and super-intelligent, there were ladies queuing to comfort me. Pity you're ugly and thick, but hey ho....  ;D

For a minute, I got you confused with Mr Opti ;D

Then I woke up ::)

Joking aside, it does get better over time, and it's better done and dusted than prolonged  :-\

As one door closes other doors will open, just make sure you look after yourself in what can be a sad and reflective period for a few weeks.

Relationships are just like Omegas, the older they get the more they cost to maintain. Send to RobG let him dispose of them and get a newer model.  ;D ;D

All relationships hit bad patches - i do wonder whether people give up too easily on making things work. Ok there is no one size fits all and I am not advocating remaining in an unhappy situation but have we analysed and talked through what is going wrong or just avoided the difficult bit and taken a course of action which involves a bit of hard work but might produce long term results and stability. It is also the happiness of others to consider which may be deserving of making the effort.

I am sure many do their best but increasingly we are acquainted with more and more couples that have split and does this tip the balance in our decision making?

That's what I did, lol.

Much to the annoyance of the Ex. She walked out on me taking the both the kids, moved in with another guy straight away and was pregnant within months.
18months later I met Gem, 10 years younger than me (she was 21 when we met) and my ex went ape sh?t at me when she found out that she was younger and better looking ;D ;D ;D ;D

Im on a diet with diabetes anyway Cem so only eat like a sparrow pecking at things , then the odd meal out  :(

Advantage of being single has its benefits of course , like having a drive full of Omegas  ::) And to answer an earlier question about giving up too soon , i dont give up easily and try hardest to work things out but this time its mutual that things wont work staying together . As someone else said they get on with their ex wife better now than they ever did , same here  :y

Sorry to hear this Emd, but remember often when one door closes another will open.  :)  Maybe time to put that Mig back on the road!  :y

I seem to remember that there is a 'fruit code' to signify your availability status in the supermarket.  I can't remember the details but if it's not your thing don't wander about with just 2 banana's in your basket, or you may attract unwanted attention!!  :o  Try a banana and a ring doughnut!!  ;)  ;D

Good Luck!  :y
