Well maybe not for cancer, but for BPH a DRE (Digital Rectal Examination) or TRUS (Transrectal Ultrasonography) are still highly likely. In fact NOT doing these for anyone with prostate symptoms would probably be regarded as negligent. So . . . . he's going to be ok !
