Title: Steamed up windows
Post by: plym ian on 05 March 2014, 14:54:32
Sorry for posting this but want t share my findings. Every morning would come out and all widows are steamed up. Tried all possible angles ie damp in foot well, drain plugs ect. Came out the other morning and no windows were steamed up couldn't understand what I had done differently. Turns out that if you actually turn off climate control before turning engine off I believe it shuts the vent at front thus keeping windows steam free :y

Turning off climate, just turns off the compressor for aircon. For steamed up windows check the pollen filter and scuttle drain are clear, also the boot vent is not cluttered. (right hand side storage thing)

;D ;D ;D

No I haven't, but swmbo uses the car most nights to "pop" to the shops she's gone for at least 3 hours come to think of it she does tend to over do her make up, wear revealing clothing.....

Oh dear it just dawned on me she must be leaving the windows open slightly that's why it's so steamed up ;D ;D ;D
