Title: pipe behind radio
Post by: lee4206 on 05 March 2014, 20:58:37
Hi all  quick question  is there supposed to be an aircon pipe behind the radio/center dash panel. I've notice for a while there is always cold air coming from around the radio so today I've removed the radio and there is a pipe on the left hand side,is it supposed to be connected to anything or is it there  to supply cold air to cool the radio.  Also does it only supply cold air as when the heating is on high  and hot the air  is still frezing cold.

Seen a lot of insides behind the radio but never seen a cooling pipe.
Do you know where its coming from?
Is this a special UK thing?

No idea, the pic shown was a Ex Police, but fairly sure all Facelifts have them.  :-\
