I want to keep the locking bolts on my wheels but dont want them to seize on, is it ok to use copper slip on them or will this make future removal harder? thanks for any help

Putting anything onto a torqued bolt will ruin the torque loading. As long as the locking nuts are torqued correctly they should come off again OK, without the need for lubricating them.

Though grease/copper slip on bolts affects torque settings, I find it's preferable to use it anyway. But why would your locking bolts seize on?

use the slip :D :D

Copper slip is fine, but it's the actual face is the problem, they are as soft as toffee really.
Best to junk them, no one really wants to nick standard Omega wheels these days.

Thanks for replies , think i will probably remove them ,if i can find original bolts
