Title: Anyone know who provides the mechanical bits for Kia

As above really, sort of looking for a change of car, whilst I have many want's, it must be something a little different from the norm, and found this;

That's.... er.... different!  :-\   3 years Kia warranty left?  8)

As to the bits i don't know, but I had a '58 plate C'eed for a while, it was well put together and a nice car, if a tad plastiky.  :y

I suppose at least a Chevoo is partially known quantity!  ::)  ;D

In answer to your original question; Kia provide the mechanical bits, in partnership with Hyundai.

A bloke at work bought a fairly new one last year. He didn't have it very long, he wasn't generally impressed with the build quality.

Their smaller engines are jointly produced with Hyundai as Nick has suggested, they do tend to be clipped together rather than screwed or bolted :-\

I was just browsing really, should get something more economical than the Jeep sadly, and not a Mig with LPG......... ::) ::)
