wifey took car to work, running on lpg, engine cut out. restarted on petrol but now has missfire. will not run on gas at all,(it has gas) ive had the rear tank solenoid valve go before, fitted new nearly 2 years ago now.
checked for codes= none.
the other thing, on first start up from cold we sometimes dont get throttle response until its floored, sometimes with a pop in the intake. Tps?
any ideas folks. :)

What are the fuel trims doing? :y

havent a clue tbh. not equipt to read. :(

Odd. Most odd.
Any running issues on gas prior to cut out?
If it wasn't for the miss on petrol I'd wonder if you have Entwoods tank issue. :(

not today no, will start on gas even at 0 temp so summats wrong. i suspect the lpg tank solenoid has gone again due to the fact there isnt an enclosure on it. cant figure the missfire though tbh on petrol. going to get rid of this boody thing i think. :(

HT starting to break down, enough to cause miss on petrol, and LPG needs stronger ht?

Does the dis suddenly fail affecting all cylinders? Sounds like its burst open suddenly then?
Good shout if so. :-\

Yeah, well, certainly in pairs. Ime.
Fingers crossed though. Hopefully a simple fix.

I'd say either an ignition issue (e.g. duff plug. a coil pack can fail on only one cylinder if the insulation at the other end of the coil breaks down) of maybe one of the injector signals is not being looped through the LPG ECU and back to the petrol injector. Pull the spark plugs and see if one is wet.

had them out earlier kevin, all dry. no6 looked like it had water in the well at some point, all cleaned up & looked in good condition tbh. leads look good but have spare set to try in morning. :y

Hmm. Perhaps leaning towards it being the petrol injector not getting a signal, then. :-\

Hmmm, may be worth plugging petrol injectors directly into original loom, to rule out lpg ecu having an effect, ensure it runs properly on petrol before introducing LPG wiring/ecu back in

theres a good idea, will try that 1st as missfire started when gas went wrong. :y

swear box now full, was the coil pack. had a spare as a get me by. :y

:y, nice "easy" fix.

ha ha yeh j, after i took all the gas injector plugs off, what an arse of a job. lol. :D
only other thing is it still hesitant driving off from each start up( little or no throttle response). not tps as fitted different one. running petrol only as lpg is dissconnected for now.
