Title: Well, that's his tie tied............
Post by: Vamps on 09 March 2014, 22:52:50
Ready for his interview tomorrow.............. :y :y

Master Vamps was laid off a week ago and handed over his CV to a company, they are impressed with this, he has to go for an informal chat; and they never even advertised...... :y :y :y Looks like he might be starting as a White Van man with a bit of fork lift work, once he has passed the necessary training for the latter....... :y :y

Cheers chaps. :y :y  Perhaps I should explain the title, he cannot tie a tie, he didn't have one at school so when he needs one, I tie it on me and unslip if for him to use when he needs it, and yes, he did raid my wardrobe....... ::) :D :D

I could tie my tie at infant school  ;)  ;) Some of the tie knots you see on the telly look like they did it behind their back  ???  ??? Full 'Windsor' knot on the rare occasions I wear a tie  :y  :y

Buy him a clip on  ;)  ;)

What then, velcro instead of shirt buttons? Seriously, spend the 5 minutes teaching him how to do it. That said, I can't remember the last time I wore a tie, other than a bow tie at the club Christmas dinner. And that's a long standing joke; we go to an American diner in full black tie, which gets us some odd looks!

Did you tie your own bow tie though?  ???

If you're going to wear one, it should be real. It's the same knot as you use on your shoelaces, so there isn't really any excuse for not doing so!

Which is the same as the bow on a matelot's milk churn cap. Not everyone can tie them though & get it right. Vamps will have had practice.  (I didn't wear one)  ;)

When I worked a Smellycom, doing a real job, I had to wear a clip on tie, which I never really understood, 'ealth and safety wise...   ...until a customer took extreme exception to me, and was about to give me a good kicking. Fortunately, in his drunken stuper, he grabbed me by my clip-on tie.  My boss wanted me to go back and retrieve it, no bloody chance!

Good luck to Master Vamps :y

I have to do my lads tie each morning for school. When it's a PE day, he wears a clip on. I've tried to teach him, but his aspergers just stops him. Give him a calculus question and he'll sail through it. Shoe laces, ties, belts, buckles and bows....no.
