Title: Grrrrrrr DFS

We are moving from London to Wales

Selling house in London. Buying house in Wales and also buying small flat in London

Ordered furniture from DFS for flat with a "do not deliver before" date. Sales guy falling over himself wanting the immediate sale.

Now . . . . delay in completion date on flat. DFS insist on delivering. Where ? Well that's our problem.

These Ars***s want everything their own way. They want the order . . . NOW but delivery totally at their convenience. Not ours, oh sorry we are only the customers from whom you get get all of your revenue.

The house in Wales will NOT be furnished by DFS   >:(

I doubt DFS sell Welsh dressers Rog.  :-\  ;)

Am assuming you paid by credit card, send the lot back,get card provider to sort out the refund.

they are delivered from a central warehouse,so the delivery's are all worked out 8weeks from order.

you buy a suite from them, check stock, 8 week delivery window, if no stock order from the foreign,4-7 weeks. Load on lorry for delivery, no room to take back into warehouse.

you are the customer,you tell them what to do. :)

From what I've seen in Wales it's more a state of undress, especially on a Saturday night!!  :o  ;D
