Thought he was full of shite (politics wise) but you have got to admire his conviction to his cause
52 year of age is no age to go :(

He represnted his members to the hilt for what he and the union felt was a resonable working wage, without him LT underground whould have pushed through any changes they felt could save them money, but would put the travelling public at risk.
I for one respected him, for not bowing to pressure and and his loyalty to his union and the public.
