V6 only, not sure about the 2.2 DTI Elite
-
now I need to find a loom from a v6 now :'(
-
My understanding is that the ABS module sends a speed signal to the servotronic relay that operates the solenoid in the steering box.
Might be worth checking that the power steering box and ABS module are capable before spending too much time on the wiring.

2.2 doesn't need it, or TC ::)

Neither does the V6, all those big egos should be man enough to turn the wheel without assistance :P :P ;D
-
How does turning the wheel work the traction control though? :D

I have the abs and steering box from the 3.0L but the 2.2 loom is different. anyone got 3.0L looms lying around?
-
the speed sensitive steering is a bit pants all round really, you're much better off without it
-
well that's one problem sorted then. forget the speed sensitive power steering then.
cheers mate

yea - even when set to "minumum attack" mode, I still get the feeling of lightening or stiffening steering midway through corners, which doesn't exactly make for faithful handling.
