i have it priced. not bought, whats best clutch for it?

Depends what you're after...
If you spend hours trying not to drive in a straight line, then the cheapest second hand one you can get, owt else is just a waste.
If you want one to last more than 140k miles, then buy a Vauxhall one. Luk are somewhere in the middle... both on price and durability :y

need good one that will last, to much hassle taking gear box in and out lol, any idea on how much the vauxhall one is?

the clutch fitted in the box i got off a 2001 MV6 was a original GM branded Luk type.

I bought a LUK friction plate and pressure plate for my 3.2 for £98 from BuyPartsBy. The full kit inc. slave cylinder and thrust bearing is about twice that. No-one seemed to sell just the friction plate.
-
Why would you replace just the plate, when the cover and bearing are also wear items? Especially as it's not a 45minute job like on a Capri or Cortina.
(That's 45minutes on your own, in the street with the car on ramps)

think il go for luk, slave cylinder, thrust bearing, friction plate and pressure plate inc :)
