Title: omega diesel compression figures
Post by: BOB7 on 26 March 2014, 19:02:14
hi all, has anyone done a cylinder compression test on a 2.5 turbo diesel omega, ive done one on my engine and got 450psi though all six cylinders, and was wondering on a scale of 1 to 10 where my figures stand, any ideas ???

they are somewhere in the ballpark, especially if they are all reasonably even across all six cylinders :y

not really unless  you want to whip the head off and clean everthing up including  relapping valves, dont forget a turbo diesel increases compression as the turbo throws air in!
