So an 'unnamed minister' has told The Guardian that in the event of a 'yes' vote for Scottish independence in September, that a deal could be done on a currency union between Scotland and the UK! :o
Is this just an idiot trying to sound important or are the SNP right that Westminster is bluffing? ::) Maybe it's George Osborne and Danny Alexander that have had a 'Plan B' all along! :-\

My thoughts are that if the people of Scotland vote for independence then that's exactly what they should get. Off they go and on their own like the Irish did when they set up The Republic of Ireland! :y

Since when does an "un-named" person using the word "could" actually mean "the government have agreed" ???
Talk about "hype" .... bloody journalists ... trying to "make" a story out of nothing...

Even if there in a NO vote in Scotland, things cannot stay as they are now. Since devaluation the Scottish, Welsh and Irish MP's are able to vote at Westminster on All matters/laws applying to England, but English MP's have only limited voting in the devolved countries. Now if the English were to push for a devolved parliament and insist that we keep all our banks ext, to ourselves, would that not give them all independents anyway. ;) ;) :y :y
