				Hi all,
I have been reading about the merits of the auto gearbox firmware upgrade and have a couple of questions. My car is a 2003 2.6CD auto and the current gearbox firmware is version 8. I have access to a Tech 2 and TIS2000 software but the Tech 2 software is quite old (2009).
1) Is it worth upgrading the gearbox firmware from version 8? (I don't know what the latest version is)
2) If I upgrade the Tech 2 software, can I upgrade the gearbox firmware using the Tech 2 and TIS 2000, or do I need Global TIS?
Any answers, especially from the Tech 2 gurus, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian

I have a feeling that version 8 is the latest for a 2.6, so quite possibly, it's as good as it's going to get.  :y

Thanks very much. I haven't got any problems with it, it's just nice to know that I'm not missing out on anything.

...and yet trade club is a dirty word, tech 2 is a foreign object, and nothing ever goes wrong with your omega.

For the GS8211 ECU fitted to 2.6, v8 is the latest, sadly.
