Title: 2.5td intercooler track jubilee clip sizes??
Post by: conalnugent on 02 April 2014, 01:25:12
Anyway after discovering a duff jubilee clip that would have been causing leaks I now want to change them all.  Anyone know what sizes and how many of each I will need to do everything boost related?

Going to upgrade them to t-clips like these, can tighten to your eyeballs pop and never bust them

Jubilees are fine (not the cheap nasty ones, decent ones).

You certainly don't want to overtighten anything - as best is damages the rubber hose, at worse, its splits the plastic.

Yup, wouldn't go totally nuts on tightening them but its nice to have the knowledge that you can safely tighten then without the thread runging.......  :y

T-clips aren't really necessary on a stock engine, but they do make a good strong, compact  replacement for exhaust clamps.

Jubilee Clips are not cheap & nasty. There are some none branded worm drive clips that are though.  ;)
