Title: Opel Omega Fuel Pump Problems help me pleaaaaassseeeee

Hello! My name is Andreas and i have a problem with my car. It doesent start! I belive itīs the fuelpump however i do not know where it is? Can someone help me i need to fix it by tomorrow  :'( I bought the fuelpump this morning so if u can describe where it is i surely will find it, and if somebody knows, please explain to me as a child haha im so new with fixing cars. Itīs a Opel Omega 96, 2.5 engine, Manual...

I think it is in the tank. lift boot carpet and there is a silver plate. lift that and it sits under there in the tank

Im so sorry, but i could not found it... Maybe I missunderstood everything... I found a silverplate in the trunk however no fuelpump...

if you remove the 4 screws holding the plate down. you will find a big black ring. loosen that off will take some moving. and pump is under that. might be worth checking fuses and purple relays in fuse box first though to make sure it is the pump

Why do you believe it is the fuel pump?

The fuel pump doesn't run until the ECU can see that the engine is running.

When you try to start the engine does the needle of the rev counter (tachometer) move at all? If it doesn't then you may have a problem with your crank position sensor (CPS)

Pull off and check the fuel pipes by the side of the Penlium to check for fuel flow / pressure, before you start ripping the fuel pump apart.

You should be able to hear the pump prime when you turn on Ing.
