Title: These couriers are getting too good.
Post by: Stemo on 08 April 2014, 10:35:35
I told you about my delivery from DPD last week, very efficient.
Well...I was out with the dog this morning and I got an email from amazon logistics saying they were going to deliver a parcel within the hour. Hard luck, I'm out, I thought. About 40 minutes later I got another email telling me I was out. No shit, Sherlock, I thought. Then another telling me they had left it with a neighbour, his surname and house number.
Good, eh?

I take it amazon have had enough of Royal Mail. :-\

I had similar, ordered something from John Lewis. MrsT was out, I gets a call on my mobile.

Parcel Bod: 'Are you out, I need to deliver an item'

Me: 'Yes I'm at work, MrsT is also out'

Parcel Bod: 'Can I leave it with anyone in your Close?'

Me: 'Yes No2 or No4 would be fine'

Parcel Bod (around 10 mins later): 'It's with No4, I forgot to pop a note through your door to confirm'
