Title: TC Light ( only )

Help, this is doing my head in. I have an Omega 2.5 V6 CDX Auto.
Every now and then the TC light comes on and she runs rough. I have cleaned the NS drive shaft sensor and thought I had cracked it.
However randomly it still comes on and again the engine holds back as if in a real TC condition.
I have tried the paper clip test but could not make sense of the results.
Is there anything else I can try before replacing the TC ECU.
Any help would be appreciated.

TC is integrated into ABS unit.

Where are you? If near me (Bucks/Oxon/Northants border), I'll happily read the codes...

You usually get both TC and ABS lights on together, with intermittent speedo function at first.  Got working bulb in abs warning light?

ABS warning light ok, pulled the fuse and ABS light came on.
