Title: Just in case
Post by: tooleater on 11 April 2014, 11:03:06
I've just ordered my lovely new springs and shocks, from Vx dealer in Pinner. Not sure if any use to someone. Took this part No from existing shocks. 90-575-398 Ident RP or LP. Suitable for Mv6 with lowered Vx springs. Oh almost forgot chaps £388 all in inc discount, mum not bad :y

Are 90575401 WJ for Elite then? My MV6 was given all new shocks and springs right before I bought it and the car does sit a little high for my liking. I always assumed that Elite/non-MV6 springs and shocks were installed in place of the lowered items.

Don't really have the expertise to answer that ? Mate. Luckily the Mot station said rear springs spot on otherwise another £290 :o

I went to the dealers near me to get something the other week. While in parts department a lovely young lady from a motor factors popped in an dropped off 2 springs in boxes. Was thinking to my self are they going to pass them off as genuine :(

Let's hope they were Lemforders. Maybe they agreed with punter beforehand, pass parts off as genuine. Big can of worms, could backfire, leaving Dealer in serious stuk :-X
