Title: I did nt expect this
Post by: tooleater on 04 May 2014, 16:24:12
Well guys as a lot of May know, new Vx front springs and shocks were installed last Thursday. Today is cracking weather so I took her for her first decent spin. Now it would be fair to say since ownership the motor has always suffered some vibration at speed, that's legal speed ;) I can't understand why changing said bits has resulted in a Transformation :o of the drive, considering there's a degree of play in idler arm and the wishbones need replacing. The vibration is almost non existent  :y

Goes to show the front shocks were knackered then  :y

The old ones were probably letting the wheels 'bounce', hence the vibration  :)

Clearly then, the cause of the vibration, is not the engine. ;)
