A few summers ago, parts of England suffered from a plague of flies (Bluebottle variety).

Some enterprising sole put an advert in a National Paper which went something like this....

Plagued with flies - no need to be - using the latest technology we have invented the ultimate fly killer - guaranteed, or twice your money back.

Send £10 + pp to .....

A bloke at work sent off for it, received two blocks of wood, one marked 'A', and one marked 'B'.

The instructions were, first catch your fly, place it on block 'A', and hit it smartly with block 'B'.
