A few days ago I decided to adjust my bonnet release cable on the 2.6, it has always been a bit sloppy since I purchased it over 3 years ago.The clamp nut & the tapered hex screw that hold the clip in place had all seen better days , well I got all new parts from the dealer today (ordered last Thursday) and it is now perfect, could not order singly but I am glad to have some spares had to get 5 clips VOO9494849. 89 pence each.
5 screw tapered-hex.hd.VOO11073425 78 pence each.
20 clamp nuts VOO11070693. 5 pence each.
Total cost inc VAT £11.22 Worth every penny !! It now works perfectly.

What's the problem ? I wondered if the parts were available & they were I bought them & fitted them why bother other members for such an easy fix ? All I really wanted to know were the part numbers I don't wish to remove parts from elsewhere on the vehicle when they are available a 10 minute walk away from me.
