Title: car insurance - motor legal protection
Post by: 78bex on 14 May 2014, 23:01:55
For some reason I always add on motor legal protection to my policy. why ??? I`m not sure never used it & cost is £27.95. Tried to read the small print applicable to this & it turns out another company handles this anyway. So am  I wasting £27.95.

I had a non fault accident on my motorbike a few years ago and because I had legal protection a firm of solicitors sorted everything and secured a good compensation amount.  :y

You don't need to buy it with your insurance though.  Just google 'legal protection insurance'  ;)

Some on line quotes include it I think - if you are high mileage driver then would go for it as your chances of needing it are higher.

I pay for it but I've never needed it.

Wast of time these days, plenty of outfits out there that will take on any case for you and add thier charges to the claim.

Its interesting when you actualy read the print and terms relating to it, turns out its 'not a lot'
